The International Hackathon for STEM challenges you to push the boundaries of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics. We are calling on forward-thinkers, builders, and problem-solvers to develop groundbreaking solutions to some of the world's most pressing issues.
Your mission is to build a functional prototype, application, or model that bridges theoretical STEM concepts with real-world utility.
🛤️ Tracks / Focus Areas
You may choose to build your project under one of the following core pillars:
-
Health & Biotech Innovation: Tech solutions for diagnostics, medical tech, or biological research.
-
Climate & Sustainability Tech: Projects tackling clean energy, environmental monitoring, or climate change mitigation.
-
AI & Data Science for Good: Leveraging machine learning and big data to optimize systems or solve societal challenges.
-
EdTech & STEM Education: Tools and platforms that make learning complex STEM concepts interactive and accessible.
-
Open Innovation: Got a brilliant STEM idea that doesn't fit the above? Build it here!
Follow these steps to jump right into the action:
-
Register on Devpost: Ensure you’ve officially clicked "Join Hackathon" on this platform so we have your contact details.
-
Join the Community Hub: Hop into our [Discord/Slack Link] to meet other participants, find teammates, and connect with mentors.
-
Brainstorm & Ideate: Review the challenge tracks, pick a problem you are passionate about solving, and lock in your team.
-
Create Your Project Page: Set up your Devpost project early as a draft to start logging your progress.
-
Start Hacking: "Code the Chaos, Create the Future." Start building, testing, and refining your solution!
Requirements
Your project must directly address one of the challenge tracks (Health Biotech, Climate/Sustainability, AI for Good, EdTech, or Open Innovation) by combining software, hardware, or scientific modeling into a working prototype.
Requirements for your build:
-
Functional Prototype: It must go beyond a simple PowerPoint presentation or wireframe. Show us working code, a mathematical model, or a physical prototype demo.
-
STEM Integration: The project must utilize or advance concepts in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics.
-
Originality: Projects must be built from scratch during the hackathon period (pre-existing commercial projects or codebases are not allowed).
All final project submissions must be uploaded directly to the Devpost platform before the submission deadline. Please ensure your project page includes the following components:
-
Basic Information:
-
Project Name
-
Team Name and members (1–4 people)
-
Project Tagline ("Code the Chaos, Create the Future.")
-
-
Project Description:
-
A clear explanation of the problem you are solving.
-
How your solution integrates STEM principles.
-
The technologies, frameworks, or scientific methods used.
-
-
Demo Video (Mandatory):
-
A maximum 2-minute video walkthrough/screen recording demonstrating your prototype in action. (Upload to YouTube/Vimeo and embed the link).
-
-
Source Code / Repository:
-
A link to a public code repository (e.g., GitHub, GitLab/Whatsapp group) or documentation showcasing your build so judges can review the technical implementation.
